A light-tight, reflective grow room on a sturdy 19mm frame

The VIVOSUN Grow Tent turns a spare room, loft or garage corner into a space where you control the conditions. Each tent is made from 600D Oxford canvas backed with a reinforced PE layer and lined with 100% reflective Mylar, pulled over a 19mm steel pole frame that pushes together with corner connectors – no tools needed. Outdoors you cannot control light, temperature or humidity; inside the tent you set all three, keep pests and pets out and hold steady conditions through vegetative growth and flowering. Zips with a black inner lining keep light in without flaps or tape, a clear viewing window lets you check plants without opening the door, and the ports and lower vents take your extraction ducting, cables and fresh-air intake for good airflow. Seven footprints, all 2m tall, from a compact 0.8 x 0.8m to a 2 x 2m room.

How to Use

  • Build the frame by pushing the 19mm poles into the corner connectors, then pull the canvas over and zip it closed
  • Drop in the floor tray before any pots or systems go in
  • Hang the light from the roof bars with the hanging straps or rope ratchets, and mount the extraction fan and carbon filter high, ducting out through an upper port
  • Let fresh air in through the lower vents, and clip a circulation fan to an upright to move air across the canopy
  • Check for light leaks with the tent dark inside and a light on outside; close any unused ports

Which size tent do I need?

Start from the floor space you have and the light you plan to use. As a guide, VIVOSUN's own kits pair the 0.8m, 1m and 1.2m square tents with one 200W AeroLight Wing LED, the 1.5 x 1.5m, 1 x 2m and 1.2 x 2.4m tents with two 400W lights, and the 2 x 2m tent with four. Every size is 2m tall, so check the ceiling height before you build.

Is the tent fully light-proof?

Yes. The canvas has a reinforced PE layer and the zips have a black inner lining, so once zipped the tent is dark without extra flaps or tape. Close any ducting or cable ports you are not using.

Can the frame take a heavy LED and a carbon filter?

The 19mm steel poles are made for hanging a grow light, extraction fan and carbon filter from the roof bars. VIVOSUN do not publish a load rating, so hang the heaviest items close to the corners and spread the weight across the bars.

Will VIVOSUN fans and controllers fit?

Yes. The tent is the base of VIVOSUN's own smart grow kits, so AeroZesh extraction, AeroWave clip fans, AeroStream humidifiers and the GrowHub controllers all fit its ports and poles.
