The Can-Lite Carbon Filter from CAN-Filters is an inline activated-carbon filter that pairs with your extraction fan to strip odour compounds from exhaust air before they reach the rest of the house. Built around Lite carbon CKG 48 in a steel housing, with a 25, 35 or 50mm carbon bed depending on size, it is made by Can Filters in the Netherlands and comes in sixteen sizes spanning 425 to 4,500 m3/h, so there is a match for anything from a single-plant tent to a full room.

How to Use

How do I choose the right Can-Lite size?
Pick the model whose rating is at or just above your fan's real airflow, on the flange that matches your ducting. A 10-inch Isomax rated at 1,480m³/h, for example, pairs with the Can-Lite 1500 on a 10-inch flange; the 14-inch Isomax, rated 4,800m³/h in free air, pairs with the 14-inch Can-Lite 4500, the largest in the range, as a fan moves less than its free-air rating once a filter and ducting are attached.
Why is the same rating offered on more than one flange?
The carbon bed sets the airflow rating and the flange only sets the ducting it connects to, so the same filter body is made with different flanges. Choose the flange that matches your fan and ducting, and the rating that matches your fan's airflow.
How long does the carbon last?
