High-Output LED With a Spectrum You Can Change
The Dimlux Xtreme Series LED comes in three outputs - 500W, 750W and 1000W - and each is made as a standard model or a + NIR model with added near-infrared diodes. The Dimlux Xtreme Series 750W LED is a commercial-grade full spectrum LED grow light that produces 2,276 µmol/s at 2.85 µmol/J, spread evenly over a 1.5 x 1.5m growing area. The 1000W raises that to 3,035 µmol/s over the same 1.5 x 1.5m for higher intensity, and the 500W produces 1,500 µmol/s at 2.81 µmol/J over 1.2 x 1.2m. Its PhytoVegSpec spectrum is adjustable, so both light quality and intensity can be programmed by time of day and by stage of growth, and it dims without losing efficiency – run it from its own built-in controls or from a Dimlux Maxi Controller.

Even Light, Not Hot Spots
Single-point lamps and cheaper bar lights often leave a bright centre and weak edges, so plants at the sides grow slower and taller. The Xtreme's wide beam (90° x 120°) and bar layout cover the whole footprint evenly, and with the spectrum and intensity under control, you can reduce stretch in veg and raise output in flower without changing fixtures. Match the model to the space: the 500W for a 1.2m tent, and the 750W or 1000W for 1.5m, with the 1000W where you want the highest light intensity.
How to Use
- 750W: Hang 30–65cm above the canopy – higher for young plants, lower once the canopy is established
- 500W: hang 20–50cm above the canopy; 1000W: hang 40–85cm above the canopy
- Set spectrum and output on the 1.54in colour display, or connect a Maxi Controller via the interlink smartport

Should I choose a standard or a + NIR model?
The + NIR models add near-infrared diodes, which work together with the red light to drive photosynthesis, but they make plants stretch a little more. Pick + NIR if you have the headroom; choose the standard model for low ceilings or where you want to keep plants compact.
Which output suits my grow space?
The 500W covers 1.2 x 1.2m. The 750W and 1000W both cover 1.5 x 1.5m, with the 1000W giving the higher light intensity across that footprint.
Do I need a Dimlux Maxi Controller?
No. Each fixture can be run from its own built-in controls and colour display. The Maxi Controller adds central scheduling, dimming and climate control across several lights through the interlink smartport.
What is the plant temperature smartport for?
It takes the Dimlux Digital Plant Temperature Camera, which reads leaf temperature at the canopy so the light can respond when the plants run too hot or too cold.
