The three-part base feed the Green Planet programme is built on

GP3 is Green Planet's three-part base nutrient - Grow, Bloom and Micro used together and adjusted stage by stage. Splitting the feed three ways lets you change the nitrogen to phosphorus balance without changing the trace element supply, which is the reason serious growers put up with three measurements instead of one.

A one-part feed that cannot follow the plant

A single-part nutrient carries one ratio for the whole cycle, so it is always slightly wrong - too much nitrogen late, too little early. That shows up as excessive stretch at the flip and airy buds at the end. A three-part base follows the plant instead of averaging it.

How to Use

Order of mixing: Micro first into plain water, stir, then Grow, then Bloom - never combine the concentrates
Early vegetative: Grow 2 ml/L, Micro 2 ml/L, Bloom 1 ml/L
Late vegetative: Grow 3 ml/L, Micro 2 ml/L, Bloom 1 ml/L
Flowering: Bloom 3 ml/L, Micro 2 ml/L, Grow tapering to nil
Target pH: 5.8 to 6.2 in coco and hydroponics

Note — In flower, GP3 Grow tapers to nil, so it has no fixed rate of its own. Mix Micro into plain water first, stir, then Grow, then Bloom — never combine the concentrates. Target pH 5.8 to 6.2 in coco and hydroponics, and use a reduced rate in soil. Check pH and EC after mixing.
