Secret Jardin at Hydro Crop Shop
Secret Jardin is a Belgian company that has designed grow tents and indoor growing equipment since 2006. Its tents arrive pre-equipped: Ducting Flange ports for intake and extraction, cable flanges, a hanging tube for lights and fans, and a flexible, removable water tray, so a full set-up goes in without tools. Frames are Q195 steel or #201 stainless steel on reinforced plastic corners, the canvas is 210D, 400D or 900D Oxford with a PVC coating and a reflective Mylar lining, and double-flap zips, with a 3cm flap over each side of every zip, keep the tent light-proof.
Grow tents
Secret Jardin split the range by plant height. The High-Space tents, for plants 50 to 150cm tall, are the compact Dark Street DS90, the Dark Room from 60 x 60cm up to 297 x 297cm, and the Intense INT480 and INT600, on a 25mm stainless steel frame with 900D canvas, whose modules can run on their own or join into a larger room. The Low-Space Dark Propagator is for plants under 80cm: cuttings, seedlings and small plants. Hydro Shoot tents, from HS40 to HS300W, use the same materials with less fitted equipment, at a lower price.
Grow stations
Complete kits that run quietly at 24 volts, with the tent, Cosmorrow LED, extraction and fans in one box, both in a 60 x 40 x 116cm footprint. The Original 60 (GR60) has spring-like light and three shelves, 0.75m² of growing area, for cuttings, seedlings, young plants and microgreens; Secret Jardin put it at 105 to 600 seedlings or cuttings a cycle, depending on tray size. For Twenty 100 (FS100) has full-spectrum, summer-like light and one tall space, for taking vegetables, fruit, herbs and flowers from a cutting or seedling right through to cropping.
Extraction and airflow
The DF16 extractor has a 24V EC motor that runs from 0 to 100%, with a temperature setting plus minimum and maximum extraction, rated up to 150 m³/h; Secret Jardin put the energy saving at 30 to 40% against an AC extractor. It pairs with the DF16 carbon filters, rated 100 to 350 m³/h with CTC80 activated carbon, and rubber duct couplings join ducting runs. Inside the tent, the 24V Monkey Fan clips to 16 to 19mm poles, runs a brushless DC motor and tilts 15° to blow over or under the canopy.
Lighting
Cosmorrow is Secret Jardin's patented 24V LED bar. The diodes are sealed in a heat-shrunk plastic sleeve that carries heat away without a heat sink, which keeps the bar slim, light and waterproof. The Grow spectrum is 6500K for seedlings, cuttings and vegetative growth; Full Spectrum adds warmer light for flowering and fruiting plants. Secret Jardin rate the 40W Full Spectrum bar at 2.85 µmol/J, and current kits can be upgraded with extra bars and power supplies. The TNoled kit uses Grow-spectrum bars for propagation, and the TLED plugs straight into the mains and clips upright or flat to any 16 to 25mm tube.
Plant support
The WebIT elastic web spans 300 x 150cm and stretches to fit in-between sizes, holding the canopy flat across the tent.

Which Secret Jardin tent should I choose?
Go by plant height first. Dark Street, Dark Room and Intense are built for plants 50 to 150cm tall; Dark Propagator is for plants under 80cm. Then pick the footprint that fits your space.
Do I need an air intake?
Yes. The tents are airtight, so leave an intake open when you start extraction, or the walls will pull inwards.
Should I peel the clear film off a Cosmorrow LED?
No. It is part of the patented design: it keeps the bar waterproof and carries the heat away from the diodes.
What warranty do Secret Jardin products carry?
Tents are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for two years from purchase. Secret Jardin handle claims through the retailer, so contact us with a photo of the fault and of the manufacturing code on the tent's label.
